Week Calendar

Join us for stories, songs and fingerplays geared for little ones ages 0 - 3 and their caregivers, followed by playtime.  Registration is required each week.

Families are invited to bring a blanket or chair and join us for stories, songs and rhymes on the lawn.  Stories are geared for preschoolers, siblings are welcome.

Sensory Storywalks are a welcoming, friendly environment for children. During our special storytime, we will read, sing songs, and do rhymes in a unique way. We'll walk around the trail as we read our story and end at the playground! Miss.

Get your bodies moving at Throwback Tuesdays. Each week we will try out a different park within Bridgeville Borough and play "old school" playground games with other kids and families!

Join us for a friendly game of chess every Wednesday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. No registration needed!

For children starting Kindergarten in the fall of 2024. We will explore the four basic shapes, sorting, and making patterns. We will be building on the fine motor skills we practiced in the previous session!

Kids in kindergarten - fifth grade can see "How Far You Can Go" as they create a path for Sphero to see how far it can travel in one run!  Registration is required for this program from Alcosan, space is limited.

For Choose Your Own Adventure Book Club, we'll be reading and making choices together about The Abominable Snowman.

Kids in kindergarten - fifth grade and their families are invited to explore our community this summer!  Each week we'll have a different guest teach us something new.  Registration is required each week.

Kids who enjoy early chapter books are invited to join us to take a bite out of some good books!  We'll read from the first chapter of a different book each time while we share snacks, then do a fun activity related to the book.

Learn about science by using your five senses! 

Have you ever wanted to battle a dragon or discover a new world? Explore our quests in dungeons and dragons, where the possibilities are endless!

Learn the basics of amigurumi crochet! Every other week, we'll get together to learn the basics of amigurumi crochet, and we'll work a little more on the little cat we're crocheting.

Who will be the last person "standing"? Get ready for a nerf battle throughout the library. We'll provide the Nerf guns and bullets. If you'd like to bring your own Nerf gun, you're more than welcome to.
