Sensory Storywalks are a welcoming, friendly environment for children. During our special storytime, we will read, sing songs, and do rhymes in a unique way. We'll walk around the trail as we read our story and end at the playground! Miss.

Kids in kindergarten - fifth grade are invited to come have fun with science!  We'll do cool experiments with a scientist from Covestro.  Registration is required.

Kids who enjoy early chapter books are invited to join us to take a bite out of some good books!  We'll read from the first chapter of a different book each time while we share snacks, then do a fun activity related to the book.

Learn the basics of amigurumi crochet! Every other week, we'll get together to learn the basics of amigurumi crochet, and we'll work a little more on the little cat we're crocheting.

Get your bodies moving at Throwback Tuesdays. Each week we will try out a different park within Bridgeville Borough and play "old school" playground games with other kids and families!

Every week we will have a different activity. Some of the activities will be anime watching, DIY, karaoke, and a lot more. 

Repurpose an old water bottle by making it into a self watering planter with Alcosan. 

Protect your lips from the summer sun with your own lip balm! 

Join us for stories, songs and fingerplays geared for little ones ages 0 - 3 and their caregivers, followed by playtime.  Registration is required each week.

Join us for a friendly game of chess every Wednesday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. No registration needed!

Families are invited to bring a blanket or chair and join us for stories, songs and rhymes on the lawn.  Stories are geared for preschoolers, siblings are welcome.

Kids in kindergarten - fifth grade and their families are invited to explore our community this summer!  Each week we'll have a different guest teach us something new.  Registration is required each week.

Join us at Settlers Cabin Park to enjoy a campfire while we talk about nocturnal animals! We'll meet at Algonquin Shelter. For the last fifteen minutes of the program, we'll enjoy some s'mores. 

For children starting Kindergarten in the fall of 2024. We will make observations to help us describe things. We will focus on colors, opposites, and describing words. We will use magnifying glasses too!

in a whole new way!

Come explore what happens in the park when the sun goes down. Bring water and wear closed toe shoes. Flashlights will be provided.

The hike departs promptly at 9:00 p.m. from the parking lot of the Panhandle Connecter Trailhead.
